Homemade Strawberry Milk
Serves: 2 servings
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  1. Remove the stems from your strawberries and cut the berries into quarters.
  2. Rinse the berries and put them in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat.
  3. Stir the berries until warm then add water and maple syrup.
  4. Continue stirring until the strawberries have a gooey consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and put into a mesh strainer over a bowl.
  6. Using a spoon, gently press down on the strawberries to collect all of the syrup.
  7. Cool for one hour and then use in milk, on ice cream or as a smoothie garnish.
This recipe will give you approx. 4oz of syrup. Double, triple or quadruple this recipe for a larger batch of syrup. This is enough for 2 cups of strawberry milk.
